Police looking for credit card fraud suspect in Howard City

The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office and Howard City Police Department are requesting assistance of Howard City area residents to help identify a suspect wanted for questioning in a credit card fraud complaint.

Belding schools allocates remaining bond funds

It’s been three years since voters in Belding approved a hefty bond resolution to improve facilities and technology for Belding Area Schools. The remaining funds are now being allocated after all the major projects have been completed.

Montcalm County drain commissioner’s request stalls

A request from the Montcalm County drain commissioner continues to get clogged in committee meetings. Last summer, Sandy Raines requested that her two seasonal part-time drain maintenance employees be made permanent and have their hours increased to 35 hours per week.

CC-C launches new website after hackers shut down previous website

The new website for Carson City-Crystal Area Schools is officially up and running, but the implementation of the site didn’t come without its fair share of headaches. During Monday evening’s school board meeting, Superintendent Kevin Murphy said about a month ago the district’s website was hacked, leaving the website offline for about one week.
