TRI COUNTY 2, RAVENNA 1: The Vikings defeated Ravenna in the semifinals of the Muskegon Oakridge districts on Tuesday. No individual stats were submitted. RECORD: 10-4. NEXT: district finals against Muskegon Oakridge at noon Saturday.

NORTH MUSKEGON 6, LAKEVIEW 0: The Wildcats’ season came to an end at the Crossroads Charter district semifinals against North Muskegon on Tuesday. No individual stats were submitted. RECORD: 5-7. NEXT: season is complete.

MONTABELLA BOYS WIN DIVISION, GIRLS FIFTH AT MUSTANG INVITE: BOYS: The Mustangs’ boys team placed first out of four teams in the White Division at Friday’s hosted Mustang Invitational with a team score of 40. Dakota Dykhuis placed second with a time of 18:09, followed by James Wilson (18:25, 4th), Riley Daily (18:58, 6th), Riley Walkington (21:05, 16th) and Caleb Theisen (21:36, 19th). GIRLS: The Mustangs’ girls team placed fifth out of five teams in the White Division on Friday with a team score of 121. Beal City took first place with a score of 23. Sadie Quackenbush led the Mustangs with a time of 26:14, placing 21st, followed by Julie Spohn (28:38, 28th), Savannah White (28:38, 29th), Kylie Pifer (29:20, 30th) and Eva Nemetz (29:39, 31st). NEXT: at Beal City pre-regional Saturday.

VESTABURG COMPETES AT MUSTANG INVITE: The Wolverines competed with Montabella at the Mustang Invitational on Friday but did not have enough runners to compete for a team score on the boys or girls team in the White Division. Jared Moore led the Wolverines with a time of 18:31, placing fifth in the boys race. Alivia Talcott led the Wolverines’ girls team with a time of 24:48, placing 16th. NEXT: at Beal City pre-regional Saturday.

CC-C BOYS WIN DIVISION, GIRLS FOURTH AT MUSTANG INVITE: BOYS: The Eagles’ boys team placed first out of five teams competing in the Blue Division at Friday’s Montabella Mustang Invite with a team score of 34. Coleman Clark placed first in the race with a time of 16:54, followed by Ashton Keiffer (17:22, 2nd), Jared Shepler (17:53, 5th), Brayden Clark (18:27, 10th) and Calvin Clark (19:10, 16th). GIRLS: The Eagles’ girls team placed fourth out of six teams in the Blue Division on Friday with a team score of 89. Kent City placed first with a score of 18. Molly Dailey led the Eagles with a time of 22:49, placing 10th, followed by Paige Ewalt (24:41, 20th), Mary Beth Hyatt (25:25, 24th), Elia Gravalos-Tallo (25:28, 25th) and Jayden TanHave (26:14, 29th). NEXT: hosted pre-regional Saturday.

LAKEVIEW COMPETES AT MUSTANG INVITE: The Wildcats ran at the Montabella Mustang Invite on Friday but did not have enough runners to compete for a team score in the Blue Division for either of the boys or girls team. Ian Clemence placed 34th for the Wildcats with a time of 21:31 while the girls team was led by Cailyn Naasko, finishing 16th with a time of 24:16. NEXT: at Covenant Christian pre-regional Saturday.

CENTRAL MONTCALM BOYS, GIRLS FOURTH AT MUSTANG INVITE: BOYS: The Green Hornets’ boys team placed fourth out of five teams in the Red Division on Friday at the Montabella Mustang Invite with a team score of 89. Chippewa Hills took first place with a score of 38. Andrew Hardy led the Hornets with a time of 17:38, placing fourth, followed by Graham Coston (19:22, 10th), Joey Curry (20:39, 19th), Parker Skrodenis (22:41, 29th) and Sawyer Kohn (23:02, 30th). GIRLS: The Hornets’ girls team placed fourth out of four teams in the Red Division on Friday with a team score of 86. Clare placed first with a score of 34. Claire Akin led the Hornets with a time of 21:44, placing seventh, followed by Tea Hoffman (22:50, 16th), Savannah Vissman (22:54, 18th), Grace Choponis (24:37, 28th) and Kaitlyn Minikey (26:31, 39th). NEXT: at Covenant Christian pre-regional Saturday.
